Chad co-founded Dudley DeBosier in 2009 and helped grow it into one of the most recognized plaintiff firms in Louisiana.

Over the past decade, he has worked closely with more than 200 law firms nationwide, advising on leadership, operations, and sustainable growth. His experience building high-performing teams and scalable systems became the foundation for his book, 7 Disciplines for Successful Firms, which outlines the principles he believes drive long-term success in modern law firms.

Across every role, Chad’s approach focuses on creating strong cultures, disciplined operations, and better outcomes for clients.

Micki Love

President

Micki Love is President of Orion Legal MSO and a nationally recognized business leader with more than 30 years of experience growing, scaling, and transforming personal injury law firms and marketing agencies into highly successful, profitable organizations.

At Orion, Micki leads the development of a sophisticated operational infrastructure designed to help some of the nation’s leading personal injury firms achieve new levels of growth, profitability, and performance. Her expertise spans business strategy, financial management, marketing, intake, case operations, technology, and organizational leadership. She has built her career understanding how these functions work together to create stronger, more efficient, and more valuable businesses.

Micki believes Orion’s greatest strength lies in the collective knowledge and experience of its partner firms. Her vision is to create an organization where exceptional law firms maintain their individual identities while benefiting from shared expertise, innovative technology, operational efficiencies, and proven strategies that accelerate success. At the heart of that vision is a commitment to helping firms deliver exceptional results for their clients and stand up to powerful insurance companies.

Her vision for Orion is rooted in decades of experience pioneering many of the operational strategies that are transforming the legal industry today.

Micki spent more than 23 years at Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers, where she worked across nearly every area of the business before ultimately serving as Chief Operating Officer. During her tenure, she helped grow the firm from a local practice into a multi-state organization with nine offices and more than 175 team members.

Long before consolidation and shared services became common strategies in the legal industry, Micki helped facilitate the partnership and operational integration of Ron Bell Injury Lawyers in New Mexico with Hughes & Coleman. The firms maintained their distinct brands while leveraging centralized operations, shared resources, and streamlined processes to improve efficiency and performance. This forward-thinking approach helped establish an early model for the shared operational infrastructure that Orion is expanding upon today.

Micki also helped pioneer one of the personal injury industry’s earliest dedicated intake departments. Recognizing the importance of turning marketing opportunities into meaningful client relationships, she helped build a specialized intake operation at a time when intake was not yet widely recognized as a distinct business function. This strategic investment became a significant driver of the firm’s exponential growth and helped shape practices that are now foundational to successful personal injury firms.

Her influence extended beyond Hughes & Coleman through her work organizing and facilitating M&L Legal Marketing and Management, one of the country’s early personal injury-focused mastermind groups. Through M&L, she helped bring together law firm owners and industry leaders to exchange ideas, benchmark financial performance, challenge conventional thinking, and share strategies for building stronger, more profitable businesses.

Following Hughes & Coleman, Micki expanded her work nationally, consulting with personal injury firms to improve profitability, strengthen leadership, overcome operational challenges, and create scalable businesses capable of achieving new levels of success.

In addition to her leadership at Orion, Micki serves as President and CEO of cj Advertising, where she has led significant growth and business transformation since joining the agency in 2018. Under her leadership, cj evolved from a traditional advertising agency into a comprehensive marketing and business consulting partner for personal injury firms nationwide. The agency achieved 74% revenue growth over three years, earning a place on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

Micki’s accomplishments have earned her national recognition, including being named to the 2025 & 2026 Nashville Titan 100 and being honored as one of the 2026 Cynopsis Top Women in Media. These distinctions recognize her leadership, innovation, and impact across the business, marketing, and media industries.

Known for her entrepreneurial mindset, financial acumen, and ability to turn ambitious ideas into measurable results, Micki is passionate about developing great leaders, challenging the status quo, and helping organizations achieve what once seemed impossible.

She believes the most successful businesses are built by great people, clear accountability, smart decisions, and an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement.

Endlessly curious, relentlessly results-driven, and never afraid to ask the tough questions, Micki loves solving complex problems, building exceptional teams, and finding new ways to help businesses—and the clients they serve—succeed.

Steve DeBosier

Chief Litigation Strategist

Steve began his legal career on the defense side, representing insurance companies and gaining firsthand insight into their tactics and decision-making.

In March 2000, he joined Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers, where he has spent the last 25+ years turning that insider knowledge into results for injured clients across Louisiana.

Over the course of his career, Steve has:

  • Prosecuted personal injury claims in courts throughout Louisiana, including both state and federal venues
  • Developed a reputation for holding insurance companies accountable and securing the compensation his clients deserve

At Orion, Steve serves as Chief Trial Strategist, bringing a rare combination of defense-side experience and aggressive plaintiffs’ advocacy to shape how cases are built, tried, and won.

Santiago Gil Gallardo

Chief of Staff

Santiago Gil Gallardo brings experience across investing, finance, and company-building in the U.S. and Latin America, with a focus on helping growing businesses create structure, allocate capital, and execute through complexity.

Before Orion, Santiago:

  • Served as Senior Associate at IGNIA Partners, a leading Latin American venture capital firm, where he managed a portfolio of 14 companies, executed new investments and exits, and drove board-level reporting, restructurings, follow-on financings, and fundraising initiatives
  • Was a founding associate at MXC Capital, a boutique investment bank in Mexico City, where he helped build the firm’s structuring practice and executed $250MM+ in transaction mandates, including Mexico’s first SME-focused private debt fund
  • Began his career at UNIFIN, a Mexican financial services company, on the Special Projects team, working directly with senior executives on M&A evaluation and a company-wide banking transformation initiative

At Orion, Santiago serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO, partnering on strategy, operating cadence, and cross-functional execution across the platform.

Santiago holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, with a minor in Systems Engineering, from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Harrison Hessel

Chief Development Officer

Harrison Hessel serves as Chief Development Officer at Orion, where he leads the company’s business development and M&A efforts.

Harrison brings experience across consulting, private equity, and strategic M&A. He began his career in consulting before joining WJ Partners, where he evaluated and executed investments in founder-led and growing businesses.

He later served as a Director at Colibri Group, executing control equity buyout transactions in the professional education space. Most recently, Harrison was a member of the executive team at Axcel Learning, where he helped shape the company’s go-forward M&A strategy, led the execution of new acquisition opportunities, and played a key role in the sale of the business.

Harrison is a CFA charterholder.

Emily Craigo

Chief Integration Officer

Emily Craigo has spent 20+ years helping organizations navigate growth, integration, and large-scale transformation.

At Apollo Global, Emily built and led the enterprise Integration Office across 9 global institutions. At Covista, Emily led the enterprise Integration Management Office, supporting large-scale acquisitions and multiple separations. She later stepped into the role of VP of Transformation, leading company-wide growth and transformation initiatives.

Along the way, Emily has:

  • Led integration efforts across a $1.7B+ platform serving 140,000+ students
  • Helped deliver $60M+ in cost synergies and $120M+ in incremental free cash flow
  • Operated globally across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia

At Orion, Emily serves as Chief Integration Officer, working closely with new partner firms to ensure a smooth transition and a strong foundation for long-term success.

Outside of work, Emily has a passion for languages, travel, and learning about different cultures. She is fluent in Spanish and earned a M.A. in Hispanic Civilization, Spanish Language and Literature from New York University.

Chad Lederman

Chief Legal Officer

Chad Lederman became a lawyer for a simple reason: to help people.

He earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he was selected for the Order of Barristers, led the Trial Advocacy Program, and placed in the top four nationally in advocacy competitions. 

Admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2014, he spent the next decade at Dudley DeBosier building his career in personal injury litigation.

  • Represented clients at every stage of litigation, from evidence gathering to courtroom advocacy
  • Built lasting ties to the Louisiana legal community as a member of both the New Orleans Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association

At Orion, Chad serves as Chief Legal Officer, bringing his experience in plaintiff litigation to support partner firms across operations, growth, and team development, while each firm retains full control over its legal decisions and client representation.

Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and two dogs, exploring new restaurants, or slow-cooking something on the backyard smoker.

Cory Skinner

Chief Operating Officer

Cory brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across professional services, outsourcing, technology-enabled services, and private equity-backed organizations. Prior to joining Orion, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of AML RightSource, where he helped scale the business revenue sixfold while overseeing global operations across 14 countries.

Throughout his career, Cory has focused on building high-performing teams, improving operational and financial performance, creating scalable processes, and strengthening accountability through data, metrics, and governance. He has extensive experience partnering with CEOs, Boards, and private equity sponsors to execute growth strategies, improve profitability, and support long-term value creation.

Cory has also led complex transformation and integration initiatives, including the integration of multiple acquisitions, global expansion, organizational design, technology implementation, and the development of performance management systems designed to improve visibility and execution.

Earlier in his career, Cory held leadership roles at Deloitte, where he led shared services, tax operations, process improvement, technology deployment, and cross-border teams.

John Wei

Chief Technology Officer

For over 20 years, John Wei has led technology transformation — turning complex challenges into growth engines and helping businesses win, and win bigger, the right way. He built his executive career leading technology at HP, EHI (Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan’s for-profit division), and Comerica Bank, before serving as CTO & EVP of Integreon, a leading global Alternative Legal and Creative Production Services company.

Over the course of his career, John has:

  • Built high-performing teams and lasting relationships with relentless focus on customer success
  • Partnered with businesses to increase value share in digital disruption (mobile, cloud, now AI)
  • Delivered execution excellence, including successful turnarounds
  • Led M&A to create synergy, scale, and strategic positioning
  • Developed award winning AI solutions (LegalWeek Innovation Award, AI Breakthrough Award)

At Orion, John serves as Chief Technology Officer, leading platform architecture, AI enablement, and the build-out of the MSO’s technology capabilities.

John holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy and is a Harvard Business School alumnus (PLD program). Beyond his executive leadership, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce (APACC) and co-authored the bestseller AI Shift—which reached #1 on Amazon in Business Technology Innovation in April 2026. Outside of work, John is an avid reader of history and classic literature, an active community volunteer, and an enthusiastic hiker.

Lee Coleman

Chairman

Lee Coleman has spent over 40 years fighting for injured people and building the platform to do it at scale.

As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers, Lee grew the firm from a single office into a multi-state practice with a reputation for strong client advocacy and consistent results. His background as a former prosecutor laid the foundation for a trial-focused approach that has defined his career.

Along the way, Lee has:

  • Earned the AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell — the highest distinction in attorney rankings
  • Successfully argued before the Kentucky Supreme Court, winning a unanimous ruling on First Amendment rights for injury firms
  • Founded M&L Legal Marketing & Management, a national seminar for personal injury firm leaders

At Orion, Lee provides strategic guidance on growth, legal operations, and scaling a modern personal injury platform.

Outside of work, Lee keeps an active lifestyle — traveling, golfing, bicycling, and hitting the ski slopes. He and his wife JoAnn,  a retired Warren District Court Judge, have three sons, two of whom followed him into personal injury law, and six grandchildren.

James Peltier

Dudley DeBosier Representative

A Louisiana-trained litigator with nearly 30 years of experience, James Peltier has built his career around fighting hard for every client, every time.

He earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Southern University Law Center in 1995 before opening his own practice the following year. 

In 1998, he brought that courtroom experience and aggressive advocacy style to Dudley DeBosier, where he has spent the last 25+ years fighting for clients’ rights to compensation.

Over the course of his career, James has:

  • Built deep expertise across both civil and criminal litigation, trying cases alongside prominent Louisiana state representatives
  • Developed a reputation as one of Louisiana’s most tenacious personal injury litigators

At Orion, James serves on the National Advisory Board as the Dudley DeBosier representative, bringing nearly three decades of frontline litigation experience to the company’s growth and strategy.

Outside of work, James is a die-hard LSU fan. You’ll find him in Tiger Stadium, cheering on the Tigers with the same intensity he brings to the courtroom.

John Foy

John Foy & Associates Representative

John founded John Foy & Associates in 1999 and built it into one of Georgia’s most recognized personal injury firms — still founder-led more than 25 years later.

After earning his law degree from Ohio Northern University School of Law, John has devoted his career to helping victims of negligence pursue justice and fair compensation. His approach has remained the same from day one:treat clients and employees with respect, communicate openly, and never lose sight of the individual behind every case. 

Along the way, John has:

  • Earned membership in The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 
  • Maintained active involvement in numerous state and national legal associations 

At Orion, John serves on the National Advisory Board as the John Foy & Associates representative, bringing the perspective of a founder who built a high-performing plaintiff practice from the ground up.

Outside of work, John enjoys exploring Atlanta’s restaurant scene, rooting for the home teams, staying active outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

Danny Daniel

Daniel Stark Representative

Danny Daniel is a founding partner of Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers, a nationally recognized personal injury firm headquartered in Texas. Since opening the firm in 2000, he has grown Daniel Stark into a team of more than 160 professionals, including 38 trial lawyers.

In addition to his work at Daniel Stark, Danny co-founded Legal Monkeys, a technology-enabled legal services company serving law firms nationwide. After selling the business and honoring a non-compete, he relaunched the company in 2023 with new products designed to help law firms streamline document retrieval and bring new technology to legal advertising.

Danny is also a former founding president of the Bryan-College Station chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and a frequent speaker on leadership, firm growth, and innovation in the legal profession.

At Orion, Danny serves on the National Advisory Board as a Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers representative, bringing more than two decades of experience building and growing a personal injury firm to Orion’s growth and strategy.

Jonathan Stark

Daniel Stark Representative

Jonathan Stark is a founding partner of Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers and head of the firm’s litigation department. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law.

An innovator in the legal industry, Jonathan has designed and co-developed several personal injury-specific technology applications focused on improving client service and law firm efficiency. He is also a frequent speaker on client service, law office management, firm culture, and the integration of technology into personal injury case management.

As a litigator, Jonathan has achieved significant results in the courtroom, including a $41 million verdict that was recognized by Top Verdict as one of the Top 20 Verdicts in Texas for 2023. 

At Orion, Jonathan serves on the National Advisory Board as a Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers representative, bringing his experience in litigation, technology, and operational efficiency to the broader organization.

Bob Sexton

Rainwater Holt & Sexton Representative

Bob Sexton is a founding partner of Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, Arkansas’s largest personal injury law firm. Since helping establish the firm in 2006 alongside Mike Rainwater and Stephen Holt, Bob has played a key role in its growth from a small team into a statewide firm with more than 40 attorneys and over 125 team members.

A lifelong Arkansan, Bob earned his undergraduate degree from Ouachita Baptist University and his Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Throughout his career, he has represented thousands of individuals and families facing complex legal matters and serious injuries.

Bob also serves on the Board of Governors of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and has held leadership roles with several professional, educational, and community organizations throughout Arkansas.

As a member of Orion’s National Advisory Board, Bob draws on his experience building Rainwater, Holt & Sexton and his longstanding commitment to client advocacy to help inform the organization’s continued development.

Mike Rainwater

Mike Rainwater has spent more than four decades practicing law in Arkansas, representing cities, counties, public officials, and injured individuals and families. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in more than 6,000 cases and represented more than 30,000 Arkansans.

Before focusing on personal injury law, Mike served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and represented city officials through the Arkansas Municipal League Defense Fund. He also helped create and litigate for the Association of Arkansas Counties Risk Management Fund, representing county officials across the state for more than 31 years.

In 2006, Mike helped found Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, which has grown to more than 40 attorneys and 125 team members while remaining focused on its founding philosophy of putting people first.

Mike represents Rainwater, Holt & Sexton on Orion’s National Advisory Board, where his more than four decades of legal experience provide valuable perspective as Orion supports its partner firms and plans for the future.

John Rainwater

Rainwater Holt & Sexton Representative

John Rainwater is a personal injury attorney based in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he has practiced since 2009. His practice focuses on complex personal injury matters, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, and his broader litigation experience includes bankruptcy matters, disability claims, class actions, and civil rights defense in state and federal courts.

John earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accountancy from the Sam Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas. His accounting background informs his analytical and practical approach to litigation and case strategy.

John serves on the Board of Governors of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and has held numerous leadership positions within the legal profession. He has also been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and The National Trial Lawyers for his work in personal injury and other areas of practice.

On Orion’s National Advisory Board, John brings a combination of complex litigation experience, financial acumen, and an analytical approach to problem-solving that adds a distinct perspective to the group.
