Chad co-founded Dudley DeBosier in 2009 and helped grow it into one of the most recognized plaintiff firms in Louisiana.

Over the past decade, he has worked closely with more than 200 law firms nationwide, advising on leadership, operations, and sustainable growth. His experience building high-performing teams and scalable systems became the foundation for his book, 7 Disciplines for Successful Firms, which outlines the principles he believes drive long-term success in modern law firms.

Across every role, Chad’s approach focuses on creating strong cultures, disciplined operations, and better outcomes for clients.

Micki Love

President

30+ years, Co-Founded Xcelerator Law Firm Consulting, 

She began at Hughes & Coleman, rising from a runner to COO, where she helped grow the firm to 175+ employees and nine offices across three states.

Micki later:

Co-Founded Xcelerator Law Firm Consulting.  Through her consulting, she has had the opportunity to work with more than 200+ law firms and assist them in their growth journey.

Serves – I’m still the President of cj Advertising.

Steve DeBosier

Chief Litigation Strategist

Steve began his legal career on the defense side, representing insurance companies and gaining firsthand insight into their tactics and decision-making.

In March 2000, he joined Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers, where he has spent the last 25+ years turning that insider knowledge into results for injured clients across Louisiana.

Over the course of his career, Steve has:

  • Prosecuted personal injury claims in courts throughout Louisiana, including both state and federal venues
  • Developed a reputation for holding insurance companies accountable and securing the compensation his clients deserve

At Orion, Steve serves as Chief Trial Strategist, bringing a rare combination of defense-side experience and aggressive plaintiffs’ advocacy to shape how cases are built, tried, and won.

Santiago Gil Gallardo

Chief of Staff

Santiago Gil Gallardo brings experience across investing, finance, and company-building in the U.S. and Latin America, with a focus on helping growing businesses create structure, allocate capital, and execute through complexity.

Before Orion, Santiago:

  • Served as Senior Associate at IGNIA Partners, a leading Latin American venture capital firm, where he managed a portfolio of 14 companies, executed new investments and exits, and drove board-level reporting, restructurings, follow-on financings, and fundraising initiatives
  • Was a founding associate at MXC Capital, a boutique investment bank in Mexico City, where he helped build the firm’s structuring practice and executed $250MM+ in transaction mandates, including Mexico’s first SME-focused private debt fund
  • Began his career at UNIFIN, a Mexican financial services company, on the Special Projects team, working directly with senior executives on M&A evaluation and a company-wide banking transformation initiative

At Orion, Santiago serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO, partnering on strategy, operating cadence, and cross-functional execution across the platform.

Santiago holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, with a minor in Systems Engineering, from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Harrison Hessel

Chief Development Officer

Harrison Hessel serves as Chief Development Officer at Orion, where he leads the company’s business development and M&A efforts.

Harrison brings experience across consulting, private equity, and strategic M&A. He began his career in consulting before joining WJ Partners, where he evaluated and executed investments in founder-led and growing businesses.

He later served as a Director at Colibri Group, executing control equity buyout transactions in the professional education space. Most recently, Harrison was a member of the executive team at Axcel Learning, where he helped shape the company’s go-forward M&A strategy, led the execution of new acquisition opportunities, and played a key role in the sale of the business.

Harrison is a CFA charterholder.

Emily Craigo

Chief Integration Officer

Emily Craigo has spent 20+ years helping organizations navigate growth, integration, and large-scale transformation.

At Apollo Global, Emily built and led the enterprise Integration Office across 9 global institutions. At Covista, Emily led the enterprise Integration Management Office, supporting large-scale acquisitions and multiple separations. She later stepped into the role of VP of Transformation, leading company-wide growth and transformation initiatives.

Along the way, Emily has:

  • Led integration efforts across a $1.7B+ platform serving 140,000+ students
  • Helped deliver $60M+ in cost synergies and $120M+ in incremental free cash flow
  • Operated globally across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia

At Orion, Emily serves as Chief Integration Officer, working closely with new partner firms to ensure a smooth transition and a strong foundation for long-term success.

Outside of work, Emily has a passion for languages, travel, and learning about different cultures. She is fluent in Spanish and earned a M.A. in Hispanic Civilization, Spanish Language and Literature from New York University.

Chad Lederman

Chief Legal Officer

Chad Lederman became a lawyer for a simple reason: to help people.

He earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he was selected for the Order of Barristers, led the Trial Advocacy Program, and placed in the top four nationally in advocacy competitions. 

Admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2014, he spent the next decade at Dudley DeBosier building his career in personal injury litigation.

  • Represented clients at every stage of litigation, from evidence gathering to courtroom advocacy
  • Built lasting ties to the Louisiana legal community as a member of both the New Orleans Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association

At Orion, Chad serves as Chief Legal Officer, bringing his experience in plaintiff litigation to support partner firms across operations, growth, and team development, while each firm retains full control over its legal decisions and client representation.

Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and two dogs, exploring new restaurants, or slow-cooking something on the backyard smoker.

Lee Coleman

Chairman

Lee Coleman has spent over 40 years fighting for injured people and building the platform to do it at scale.

As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers, Lee grew the firm from a single office into a multi-state practice with a reputation for strong client advocacy and consistent results. His background as a former prosecutor laid the foundation for a trial-focused approach that has defined his career.

Along the way, Lee has:

  • Earned the AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell — the highest distinction in attorney rankings
  • Successfully argued before the Kentucky Supreme Court, winning a unanimous ruling on First Amendment rights for injury firms
  • Founded M&L Legal Marketing & Management, a national seminar for personal injury firm leaders

At Orion, Lee provides strategic guidance on growth, legal operations, and scaling a modern personal injury platform.

Outside of work, Lee keeps an active lifestyle — traveling, golfing, bicycling, and hitting the ski slopes. He and his wife JoAnn,  a retired Warren District Court Judge, have three sons, two of whom followed him into personal injury law, and six grandchildren.

James Peltier

Dudley DeBosier Representative

A Louisiana-trained litigator with nearly 30 years of experience, James Peltier has built his career around fighting hard for every client, every time.

He earned his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Southern University Law Center in 1995 before opening his own practice the following year. 

In 1998, he brought that courtroom experience and aggressive advocacy style to Dudley DeBosier, where he has spent the last 25+ years fighting for clients’ rights to compensation.

Over the course of his career, James has:

  • Built deep expertise across both civil and criminal litigation, trying cases alongside prominent Louisiana state representatives
  • Developed a reputation as one of Louisiana’s most tenacious personal injury litigators

At Orion, James serves on the National Advisory Board as the Dudley DeBosier representative, bringing nearly three decades of frontline litigation experience to the company’s growth and strategy.

Outside of work, James is a die-hard LSU fan. You’ll find him in Tiger Stadium, cheering on the Tigers with the same intensity he brings to the courtroom.

John Foy

John Foy & Associates Representative

John founded John Foy & Associates in 1999 and built it into one of Georgia’s most recognized personal injury firms — still founder-led more than 25 years later.

After earning his law degree from Ohio Northern University School of Law, John has devoted his career to helping victims of negligence pursue justice and fair compensation. His approach has remained the same from day one:treat clients and employees with respect, communicate openly, and never lose sight of the individual behind every case. 

Along the way, John has:

  • Earned membership in The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 
  • Maintained active involvement in numerous state and national legal associations 

At Orion, John serves on the National Advisory Board as the John Foy & Associates representative, bringing the perspective of a founder who built a high-performing plaintiff practice from the ground up.

Outside of work, John enjoys exploring Atlanta’s restaurant scene, rooting for the home teams, staying active outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
